On September 3rd, residents from Evergreen Tower I and II came together to participate in a socially distanced outdoor Zumba class, sponsored by the Chicago Police Department 18th District. Police officers, residents, and staff all gathered in the parking lot for a fun and interactive dance workout. Participants had a great time as the Zumba instructor took them through a series of song genres: oldies, R&B, hip-hop, and salsa. Snacks and refreshments were provided to keep the energy level high. With the success of the day’s event, Zumba classes are sure to continue at the property.
