We have an exciting announcement in Indiana!
Harbor Square, a mixed-use three-story development in the heart of East Chicago’s North Harbor neighborhood, will start leasing activities in March with an anticipated construction end date in May. To date plumbing, fire protection, and masonry have been completed with the general contractor making progress on drywalling, siding, and storefront installation. The elevator installation and total drywall release are also already scheduled.
Once completed, Harbor Square will have one- and two-bedroom residential units located primarily on the upper floors with a health clinic, run by HealthLinc, on the first floor. The project will target people making below the average median income in the area and small families, with an emphasis on single-parent households. We are proud of the difference Harbor Square will make in the North Harbor neighborhood and beyond thrilled to finally open in the summer.
